Brittany Murphy Dies of Heart Attack at 32

Brittany Murphy died Sunday morning, sources confirm after reports surfaced on gossip Web site TMZ.com. She was 32.

The report cites multiple sources claiming that she went into cardiac arrest and was pronounced dead at Cedars Sinai Medical Center.

The Associated Press reported that the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a 911 call from the home of screenwriter Simon Monjack, Murphy's husband, on Sunday morning. Fire Department spokesman Devon Gale said the call was made at 8 a.m. and that one person was transported to a hospital.

Updates on Serendra Car Explosion and Pictures

Here are some updates from the first respondents to the scene:

It was around 12:00 noon when the car explosion happened.  The vehicle in qustion exploded while it was entering the Serenddra carparck.  The person driving the car died immediately from the explosion.  Since the person was badly burned, no one can identify if it was male or female.  No details yet if it was an attack or an accident.

Sing Off NBC Premiers Tonight

NBC's The Sing Off premieres tonight, so watch it while you can because it won't be around for long.
The Sing Off, which is hosted by Nick Lachey, is a four-night singing competition featuring eight a capella groups from around the country. There are no backing bands used on The Sing Off. So it's all about the voices as the groups compete for a $100,000 prize. Vote for your favorite here.

The Sing Off is judged by Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger, musician Ben Folds, and Boyz II Men star Shawn Stockman. But the viewers, not the judges, will decide who wins the cash prize in the end.
